Oh how cool! I was thinking about doing some of my lectures as an mp3 that people could listen to, this might work nicely to add them to my sites. Thanks!

This app is pretty cool, but pretty basic compared to others on the market. As a side note, your website loaded funny for me on a mac, FF 2.01.

That's interesting. I can see how it could be useful for the disabled. I can also see it being useful for students - some people learn really well by listening, so it might be useful to be able to create audio files from study notes to listen to while travelling etc, or maybe for learning a foreign language?

Wow. You really need to check out this blog in Firefox 3. I found this 3/4 of the way down the page and I am sure this is supposed to be your second column. Interesting piece of software. I don't know what I would use it for. Thanks for sharing though.

It is quite an interesting idea, but I dont know what I would use it for. It is one of those things that you keep in mind in case the right situation comes up and you can use it :)

Like Talen said I can see this being useful for blind people. I have a photo blog though so I can't see me getting much use out of it. I could describe the pictures to them or something. LOL!

I've always loved these applications but have never found a good use for them. One time I used one on a Steven Hawking page where you could control his speech...funny but not quite what it's intended for. It would be awesome if something like this could be implemented into the back end of a site or blog and be coded to certain cue's like for instance if a blind person comes to your page.
